VakıfBank signs Serbian national team outside hitter Vanja Ivanović, a former Serbian league MVP, for the new season.

VakıfBank has signed Serbian national team outside hitter Vanja Ivanović as part of its roster planning for the new season, the Turkish club announced. Ivanović is 22 years old and has previously played for Serbian clubs including ZOK Leskovac and Zvezdara.
During her time in Serbia, Ivanović won the Serbian league title and was named the league's most valuable player during the 2024-25 season. She has also won the Serbian Cup and Serbian Super Cup, and was part of the Serbian national team that won bronze at the Mediterranean Games.
Speaking after her transfer was announced, Ivanović said: "Seeing my dream come true made me very happy. I can't wait to wear the VakıfBank jersey. I'm here to win cups and championships. I will give my best on the court. I want our fans to believe in us and support us always. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone at the championship venue."
