Aleeza Aichi Signs Three Foreign Players Including MB Martinez

Aleeza Aichi of the SV.League Women announced on Monday, August 17, the signings of opposite Lindsey Ludins Wisdom Radins (28), outside hitter Laura Künzler (29), and middle blocker Gineiry Martinez (28).

Radins, from the United States, stands 191 cm tall with a 316 cm reach, and played last season for Italian Serie A powerhouse Scandicci, winners of the Club World Championship. Künzler, from Switzerland, has represented and captained the Swiss national team, and played last season for Serie A's Chieri, having previously built experience with clubs in Switzerland, Germany, France, and Turkey. Martinez, from the Dominican Republic, has also represented her national team, and stands 195 cm tall with a 325 cm reach, having previously played for clubs in France, Turkey, and Brazil.

All three players shared comments through the club. Radins said: "I'm very happy to be able to play in this wonderful SV.League as a member of Arisa Aichi. I'm looking forward to the challenge with my new team, and I'll do my best every day to contribute to our wins. Thank you for your support." Künzler said: "Hello everyone. I'm really looking forward to joining Aleeza Aichi this season. I'm truly happy to have the opportunity to play in Japan. I've heard great things from other players about the team, its structure, organization, and Japanese volleyball in general, so I'm really excited. I can't wait to get to Japan and train with the team, and achieve great things together. See you all soon!" Martinez said: "Hello, I'm Gineiry Martinez, a middle blocker from the Dominican Republic. I'm really looking forward to this new experience with the team and to playing in Japan. Honestly, I love Japanese culture, and I never imagined I'd get the chance to play here.
