Bojana Gočanin Leads VNL Reception Rankings
Serbian libero Bojana Gočanin recorded 115 successful receptions and finished the VNL preliminary phase as the competition’s leading receiver.

Serbian libero Bojana Gočanin finished the preliminary phase of the 2026 Volleyball Nations League as the competition’s leading serve receiver.
The 23-year-old recorded 115 successful receptions with 35% efficiency, according to Volleyball World. Her performance helped her establish herself as Serbia’s starting libero during the tournament.
Gočanin’s international success follows a strong club season with TENT Obrenovac. She played an important role as the club won the Serbian championship before earning a regular position in Zoran Terzić’s national team.
She will face competition from the experienced Aleksandra Jegdić when Serbia begin preparations for the European Championship.
Other statistical leaders from the VNL preliminary phase included Italy’s Ekaterina Antropova in serving and Canada’s Kiera Van Ryk in attacking and scoring. France’s Juliette Gelin led the defensive ranking.
Ukraine’s Daria Sharhorodska was the leading setter, with Serbia’s Sladjana Mirković in second place. Brazil’s Julia Kudiess topped the blocking category, while Serbian middle blocker Hena Kurtagić finished sixth.
