Galatasaray Daikin Extends Contract With Wang Yuanyuan
Galatasaray Daikin extends its contract with Chinese middle blocker Wang Yuanyuan for another season in the Turkish league.
Galatasaray Daikin, a club in the Vodafone Sultanlar Ligi (Turkish women's volleyball league), announced on August 1 that it has signed a new one-year contract with Chinese middle blocker Wang Yuanyuan.
According to the club's statement, Wang, born in 1997, joined Galatasaray Daikin last season and has now extended her deal for another year. Before arriving in Turkey, she built her professional career at Tianjin Bohai Bank, where she won seven Chinese league titles, five Chinese championships, and one CEV Cup title, earning several individual awards along the way.
The club noted that Wang was the most effective blocker in the 2025-26 Vodafone Sultanlar Ligi season and will continue wearing the Galatasaray colors for the upcoming season. The club wished her continued success in red and yellow.
