Galatasaray Daikin Extends Contract With Yasemin Güveli
Galatasaray Daikin renews its contract with middle blocker Yasemin Güveli, the league's top-blocking Turkish player last season.
Galatasaray Daikin announced on August 4 that it has signed a new one-year contract with middle blocker Yasemin Güveli as part of the club's internal transfer activities for the new season.
Güveli, born in 1999, began her professional career at Beşiktaş before playing for Eczacıbaşı, Karayolları, and Çukurova Municipality Sports Club, joining Galatasaray Daikin last season. Over her career, she has won one World Club Championship, three CEV Cup titles, and two Turkish Super Cup titles, earning several individual awards along the way.
The club noted that Güveli finished the 2025-26 Vodafone Sultanlar Ligi season as the Turkish player with the most blocks, and will continue playing for Galatasaray Daikin next season.
