Galatasaray Daikin have added experienced Turkish libero Ayça Aykaç to their roster for the 2026/27 season.
Galatasaray Daikin have announced the signing of Turkish libero Ayça Aykaç for the 2026/27 season.
The 30-year-old joins the Istanbul club after a successful period with VakıfBank. She began her professional career in the VakıfBank youth system and later returned to the club following a loan spell with Yeşilyurt.
Aykaç arrives with extensive experience from the highest levels of Turkish and European volleyball. Her club honours include seven Turkish league titles, five Turkish Cups, four Turkish Super Cups, five CEV Champions League trophies and two FIVB Club World Championship titles.
She has also represented the Turkish national team and was part of the squad that won the European Championship.
Galatasaray highlighted Aykaç’s experience and her individual recognition as one of the leading liberos in major competitions.
Her arrival gives the club a proven defensive specialist as Galatasaray prepare their roster for the new domestic and European season.
