Galatasaray Sign Libero Abdulsamet Yalçın on Two-Year Deal
Turkish libero Abdulsamet Yalçın has joined Galatasaray from İstanbul Gençlik Spor on a two-year contract.

Galatasaray have announced the signing of Turkish libero Abdulsamet Yalçın ahead of the 2026/27 season.
Yalçın joins the Istanbul club from İstanbul Gençlik Spor and has agreed to a two-year contract.
The Turkish international will strengthen Galatasaray’s reception and defence as the club prepares to compete across four competitions. The team will also take part in the CEV Champions League during the new season.
Yalçın began his volleyball career with İMS Spor Kulübü. He later represented Spor Toto, Ziraat Bankkart, Arkas Spor and İstanbul Gençlik Spor before completing his move to Galatasaray.
The club welcomed its new libero through an official announcement and wished him success in the yellow and red jersey.
His signing adds another experienced domestic player to the roster as Galatasaray continue preparations for an important campaign.
