Galatasaray Signs Ramazan Efe Mandıracı in Emotional Ceremony

Galatasaray has signed Turkish national team player Ramazan Efe Mandıracı, who returns to his home country after two seasons abroad with Piacenza in Italy.

The signing ceremony was attended by club vice president Mehmet Cibara and board member Ömer Sarıgül. Speaking at the event, Mandıracı said: "I am very happy to play for Galatasaray. I hope this signing takes us another step closer to our dreams. Our fans shouldn't doubt us — we will always give everything we have. I didn't prepare a speech, I'm speaking from the heart, the way I feel. That's why I'm a bit emotional. This will be a very emotional signing for me, because I'll be wearing the jersey I dreamed of throughout my childhood. I hope we finish the season with trophies, in a way worthy of Galatasaray."

Board member Ömer Sarıgül praised the moment, saying: "Efe gave a very nice speech. He didn't read from paper or recite something memorized — he spoke from the heart, the way he felt. We are very fortunate to witness this moment, as he fulfills his childhood dream, and to be by his side for it. Led by our vice president Mehmet Cibara and our president, we are doing very good things in volleyball. I believe we will achieve even bigger things. Galatasaray is currently investing very seriously in the future of volleyball, as in all our sports, and serious steps are being taken. It's a great honor and privilege for me to be part of that. I think today's signing — Efe fulfilling his childhood dream, joining Galatasaray, and connecting with the club — is one of the turning points for our volleyball program.
