Grbić's Poland Arrive in China for Nations League Finals
Poland's national volleyball team has landed in China to prepare for the Nations League Finals, opening against Ukraine on Thursday.

Poland's men's volleyball team has arrived in China ahead of the Volleyball Nations League Finals, set to be played from July 29 to August 2. The trip involved a long journey and a ten-hour time difference for Nikola Grbić's squad.
Poland had a strong run in the intercontinental phase, finishing the group stage unbeaten. That result secured both qualification for the Finals and second place in the standings. Before heading to China, the team also had a short but intense training period there.
Head coach Nikola Grbić and libero Jan Firlej, who has recovered from a calf injury, spoke about the team's condition ahead of the tournament. They said the atmosphere of a major tournament has not fully set in yet, since there is still time before the first match. Physically, they said, the team looks good, and while not yet in perfect form, there is still time to improve. Both expressed confidence that the team will be ready for Thursday's match against Ukraine.
