Italy Completes Perfect Run With Sweep of Poland
Italy sweeps Poland 3-0 to complete a perfect run at the Agata Mróz-Olszewska Memorial ahead of the European Championship.

Italy capped an unbeaten run at the Agata Mróz-Olszewska Memorial with a 3-0 win over hosts Poland, 25-16, 25-21, 25-20, in front of a packed crowd at the Sport and Entertainment Hall in Koszalin.
Julio Velasco's side finished the tournament with three wins from three matches, also defeating France and Ukraine, and dropped just one set across the event. The tournament served as a valuable final test for Italy ahead of the European Championship.
Paola Egonu led the winners with 15 points. Ekaterina Antropova, usually deployed as an opposite, adapted to playing outside hitter following Loveth Omoruyi's injury and contributed 13 points. Sarah Fahr added nine points and Anna Danesi eight.
Italy outscored Poland 12-4 in blocks and 6-5 in aces, with the match lasting 73 minutes. Poland's Magdalena Stysiak was the hosts' top scorer with 10 points.
For the tournament, Italy beat France 3-0, Ukraine 3-1, and Poland 3-0, providing a strong finish to their preparations before the European Championship.
