LOVB Miami Add Jovana Brakočević and Tara Taubner
Former Serbian star Jovana Brakočević Kancijan joins LOVB Miami’s coaching staff, while opposite Tara Taubner has signed as a player.
LOVB Miami have added two Serbian names to their team ahead of the new season.
Jovana Brakočević Kancijan has joined the club’s coaching staff as an assistant. The former opposite recently ended her playing career after previously announcing her plan to move into coaching.
Brakočević represented Serbia at three Olympic Games and collected major team and individual honours during a long international career. LOVB Miami highlighted her championship experience and success in several leading professional leagues.
Serbian opposite Tara Taubner has also joined the Miami roster as a player. She arrives with experience from four countries and has previously won the Serbian championship.
The moves bring two generations of Serbian volleyball to South Florida. Brakočević will begin the first major chapter of her coaching career, while Taubner will continue her development in the American professional league.
LOVB Miami officially welcomed both new additions through separate announcements.
