Serbian middle blocker Mina Popović is set to continue her career in the United States after agreeing to join LOVB Atlanta.
The move will take the 32-year-old to a new volleyball environment following previous spells in Italy, Türkiye and Russia.
Popović brings extensive experience from both club and international competitions. The 189-centimetre middle blocker has established herself as a reliable option at the net during a career across several leading European leagues.
She began attracting attention in Serbia while representing Poštar and Crvena zvezda. Her performances later opened the way for moves abroad and opportunities with major European clubs.
Popović will now begin the first American chapter of her career in League One Volleyball. Her experience and blocking ability will strengthen the Atlanta roster ahead of the new season.
The transfer also adds another Serbian player to the growing professional volleyball project in the United States.
