Slovenia Beat Türkiye in Four Sets in Belgrade
Türkiye lost 3–1 to Slovenia in Belgrade and must now focus on their final VNL preliminary-round match against Iran.

Türkiye suffered a 3–1 defeat to Slovenia in their third match of the final week of the 2026 Volleyball Nations League.
Slovenia won 25–22, 20–25, 25–21, 25–23 in a match that lasted 129 minutes at Belgrade Arena.
After losing the opening set, Türkiye responded strongly to level the match. Slovenia regained control in the third before closing a competitive fourth set by two points.
The victory secured Slovenia’s place in the VNL Finals, while Türkiye’s qualification hopes remained unresolved ahead of the final day of the preliminary phase.
Türkiye will complete their campaign against Iran on Sunday, July 19, at 14:00 local time in Belgrade. The result will be important in their attempt to claim one of the remaining places at the Finals.
