Stefano Lavarini Stays With Milano for Third Season
Stefano Lavarini will remain head coach of Numia Vero Volley Milano for a third consecutive season in 2026/27.
Numia Vero Volley Milano have confirmed Stefano Lavarini as head coach for the 2026/27 season.
The Italian coach will begin his third consecutive campaign with the club and continue leading its long-term sporting project. Milano are preparing to introduce a new generation of players while remaining competitive in domestic and European competitions.
Lavarini guided the team to the 2025 Italian Super Cup title. It was the first domestic trophy in the history of Milano’s women’s team and an important step in the club’s development.
The coach believes continuity will help Milano build on the progress made during the previous two seasons. His focus will be on creating a united and competitive squad based on consistent work, commitment and teamwork.
Before returning to Milano for preseason preparations, Lavarini will lead the Polish national team at the European Championship in August.
He also thanked the club’s supporters for their continued backing and said he was looking forward to working with the players again.
