Yekaterinburg to Host Russia's National Spartakiad Volleyball
Yekaterinburg hosts Russia's national Spartakiad volleyball competitions, with the women's tournament in late August and men's in early September.

Yekaterinburg will host the volleyball competitions of the Summer Spartakiad of the Peoples of Russia, with the women's tournament running August 24-29 and the men's tournament following August 31 to September 5.
Matches will be played across two venues: the DIVS (Palace of Game Sports), longtime home of the "Uralochka-NTMK" club, and the N.V. Karpol Academy. All games will be streamed on volley.ru, with select matches also broadcast on the Volleyball TV channel and the Match TV network. Free tickets became available starting August 11 through the Games' official platforms.
In the women's tournament, Group A includes Tatarstan, Kaliningrad Oblast, Tula Oblast, and Krasnoyarsk Krai; Group B includes Moscow Oblast, St. Petersburg, Saratov Oblast, and Chelyabinsk Oblast; and Group C includes Moscow, Sverdlovsk Oblast, Omsk Oblast, and Krasnodar Krai. The women's semifinals are set for August 28, with the bronze medal match and final on August 29.
In the men's tournament, Group A includes Moscow, Leningrad Oblast, Krasnoyarsk Krai, and Sverdlovsk Oblast; Group B includes Tatarstan, Belgorod Oblast, Samara Oblast, and Nizhny Novgorod Oblast; and Group C includes Novosibirsk Oblast, St. Petersburg, Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, and Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug. The men's semifinals take place September 4, with the bronze medal match and final on September 5.
