Eczacıbaşı Add Japan Captain Mayu Ishikawa
Japanese captain Mayu Ishikawa has joined Eczacıbaşı Dynavit for the 2026/27 season after spending the previous campaign with Novara.

Eczacıbaşı Dynavit have confirmed the signing of Japanese outside hitter Mayu Ishikawa for the 2026/27 season.
The 26-year-old joins the CEV Champions League runners-up after playing for Igor Gorgonzola Novara in Italy. She previously represented Toray Arrows in Japan and Il Bisonte Firenze.
Ishikawa brings experience from both domestic and international volleyball. She won the CEV Cup in 2025 and has also collected honours in Japanese competitions.
As captain of the Japanese national team, Ishikawa has competed in the Volleyball Nations League, the FIVB World Championship and the Olympic Games. She helped Japan win the VNL silver medal in 2024.
Ishikawa is known for her ball control, reliable reception and ability to play in fast attacking systems. Eczacıbaşı believe her consistency, leadership and international experience will make her an important part of the team.
The Japanese star becomes another major addition as Eczacıbaşı prepare to compete for domestic and European trophies next season.
